(Brief) The 3rd edition of Mountain Echoes- a literary festival gets a burgeoning opening from Her Majesty the Queen Mother Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck, the Chief Patron of the event and the Prime Minister, last evening.
The festival is an initiative by the India-Bhutan Foundation with Siyahi. It brings in every year numerous local and international writers, artists and authors to share their common love for Literature and Art.
The festival, which began in 2010, also provides a platform to engage in a cultural dialogue. In the next four days, it will see conversations from eminent personalities.
