The Officials from Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA), Gross National Happiness Commission and Ministry of Agriculture and Forests signed the Record Discussion on Strengthening Farm Mechanisation Project Phase II, today.
The proposal for the Project was submitted in 2012. Following the detailed study by JICA, the minutes of the meeting for the project was signed on January 29 this year.
The project aims to provide farmers with better access to appropriate farm machinery in Bhutan. The component of the project comprises technical assistance with a project fund of Nu.2 MN. The project will be implemented within three years starting form this year.
