MoAF signs performance agreement

PerformanceEvaluation-MoAF-PMThe 10 ministries will be reviewed at the end of each year under the performance agreement. Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay said if the targets are not achieved, the ministry will have to submit an explanation.

On Thursday, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests (MoAF) became the first ministry to sign the performance agreement with the Prime Minister.

Under the performance agreement, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests will work towards improving food and nutrition security, and uplifting the livelihoods of the rural people. Sustainable management and utilization of natural resources are also taken into account.

Lyonchhen will also sign the performance agreement will nine other ministries and 20 dzongkhags.
