Tsirang Police apprehended a 36-year-old man, who was charged for raping his 16-year-old niece. The minor is a student.
The incident took place in October last year. The teachers had reported the matter to the police after they found out that the student was six months pregnant.
Tsirang Police said the suspect has been charged under section 184 of the Penal Code of Bhutan.
