A month long transmission and initiation on Dzogchen Thri Yeshi Lamai Kathri, a teaching on the art of meditation began in Phuentshogling today. It is being presided over by His Holiness the 68th Je Khenpo Thizur Tenzin Dhendrup at Rinchendhing Zangdopelri.
As part of the opening ceremony, the disciples also offered His Holiness the Mandela of the body, speech and mind.
About 200 disciples including 15 Trulkus from across the country and some from neighbouring countries of India and Nepal are attending the ceremony. Dzongchen or Great Perfection or Completeness is the central teaching of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism.
