Thimphu Police nabbed the 23-year-old detainee who was on the run. He was arrested from the town. The man escaped from the Thimphu District Court where he was taken for remand yesterday at around 10:30 am.
The man was detained around 5 am yesterday morning for allegedly breaking into a house in Kawajangsa.
Officer In-charge Wangdi with the Thimphu City Police said the detainee managed to take off the handcuff, jumped over the fencing of the district court and ran away.
