BCSEA asked not to hurry their decisionClass XII students, who appeared for their examination last year, might have to wait some more days until Bhutan Council for School Examinations and Assessments (BCSEA) relooks into the mater.

The Cabinet had requested BCSEA to relook into the matter against public outcry and also as it was deemed unfair. It was also felt BCSEA perhaps needed more time to decide on the matter.

“We felt it was important BCSEA required more time and not hurry in their decision. They shouldn’t rush. We wanted them to consider all factors carefully before they arrive at a decision,” said the Prime Minister, during the press conference, today.

It has been almost a month, since the issue of Class XII English II paper being leaked became a public knowledge. The Prime Minister validates why the earlier decision by BCSEA had to be re-looked.

The BCSEA board meeting’s decision to amend the earlier decision has not reached any conclusion yet.
