A man in his late fifties died after being hit by a car in Paro, yesterday. The incident occurred at around 7 PM at Changdenkha opposite the Paro International Airport. The police have not yet been able to confirm the identity of the victim. The driver is under police custody. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
