Three convicts on the loose after escaping custody

ConvictsThree male convicts, all sentenced for life imprisonment, escaped from police custody in Wangdue Phorang, last night. They are still on the loose.

They are said to have escaped from the custody at around 7:30 PM to 8 PM from a toilet after removing the iron bars of the window.

The three men from Seaphu were convicted, five days ago, for chorten vandalism in Seaphu and other places in Wangdue Phodrang.
