Another batch of 12 Black-necked cranes has arrived in Bumthang, making it a record arrival of the cranes in last three decades. Twenty two Black-necked cranes had arrived in Gyetsha village in Bumthang, last month. This time, eight new cranes were sighted in Chokortoe and four in Tang Gewog. Earlier, only about 15 to 16 cranes came to Bumthang.
