The newly constructed three kilometer long irrigation system from Gensabja to Chongzhikha, Shengana, Punakha has been inaugurated. The new irrigation system will benefit three Chiwogs – Chognzhikha, Jazhikha and Jarigang. The GOI funded project cost Nu. 16.5 million. The construction began in February 2012 and completed in April 2013.
