The Nation will celebrate the 106th National Day, tomorrow. Residents of Thimphu are expected to be in the thousands at the Changlimithang stadium where the historic day will be celebrated with song, dance and games.
Thimphu will also see free taxi and city bus services to the Changlimithang stadium, tomorrow. The National Day is observed on December 17th to commemorate the enthronement of Gongsar Ugyen Wangchuck as the first hereditary monarch in 1907.
BBS will be broadcasting LIVE the National Day proceedings at Changlimithang on TV as well as radio.
