The Royal University of Bhutan inaugurated two buildings to house Institute for Gross National Happiness Studies, Centre of University Learning and Teaching and an auditorium. It was inaugurated by the Chairman of University Council, Home and Cultural Affairs minister, Damchoe Dorji and the Ibing Family.  The constructions of buildings were funded by SPET, Ibing Family trust of Germany, RGoB and HELVETAS.
