SecondPayCommission. The Second Pay Commission, which was established in November, has three months to submit its recommendations to the Government. The commission has already had a number of meetings and consultations.

“The commission will be making every attempt to consult as many agencies and individuals as possible within the time frame it has been given,” states a release.

It also says the Commission will also try to hear out other voices that might be indirectly affected through the recommendations of the Pay Commission.

As an attempt to include as many opinions, the commission has come up with a website.

The press release says the pay commission was formed as per the directives from the government.

The Pay Commission will recommend the Government revisions in the structure of the salary, allowances, benefits and other emoluments of the civil servants, the judiciary, and members of the Parliament. Local Governments, the holders and Members of the Constitutional officers and all other public servants, are also included.
