His Holiness the Je Khenpo appointed, Phurba Tenzin, 52, from Haa as the New Lam Neten of Monggar Rabdey.
He received Dakyen at His Holiness the Je Khenpo’s residence at Gyalpoizhing, this morning.
Lam Phurba Tenzin began his studies at Pungthim Dratshang when he was eight years old. He has served in various posts in Zhung Dratshang. He also served as the member of Lodre Tshogde.
Lam Phurba Tenzin completed Lo sum Choe sum meditation from Thimphu Wangduetse.
The new lam Neten was received formally by the Monggar Rabdey and Dzongkhag administration.
