RCSC declares BCSE results

The results of this year’s Bhutan Civil Service Examinations (BCSE) were announced today. Sixty two percent of the graduates have qualified scoring more than 50 percent.

In the General Category, Kezang Wangchuk with B.A. International Relations from Seoul National University, South Korea has topped the exam.

Phuntsho Wangdi from Rathinam College of Arts & Science, India came second and Jigme Phuntsho, a BBA graduate from Gaeddu College of Business Studies third.

In the Dzongkha category, Sangay Tenzin from Tango Buddhist College topped the exam followed by Nima Dema and Tashi Wangmo, both from the Institute of Language and Cultural Studies.

Tandin from Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, India and Kuenzang Norbu from the National Institute of Traditional Medicine are toppers in the technical category. Chencho Gyeltshen, also from the National Institute of Traditional Medicine took the second position.

Saran Pradhan from College of Natural Resources and Chonga Tshering National Institute of Traditional Medicine came third.

A total of 1,400 graduates sat for the examinations.
