The National Commission for Women and Children, in collaboration with the World Bank, launched Gender Policy Note. It was launched by the Works and Human Settlement Minister, Dorji Choden, in the capital today.
The Gender Policy Note aims to review achievements made in gender issues. It also reviews the areas where more needs to be accomplished or understood, in terms of addressing remaining issues, like labor market and job quality.
Gender Policy Note also provides policy recommendations which are aimed at improving gender equality.
Close to 35 participants from government organisation, CSOs and private organisation took part in the launch.
