Shrimadh-Bhagwat-MahapuranA three-day Shrimadh Bhagwat Mahapuran concluded yesterday in Bumthang. Shrimadh Bhagwat Mahapuran is a well-known and practiced Hindu religious ritual. The ritual was conducted by the Hindu community of Bumthang.

During the ceremony various rituals such lighting of Batis or the holy-light, Chandi, Riudri and Geeta-pooja were conducted.

It was performed for the peace and well-being of the King, the country and the people.

The ritual was first conducted in 2009, since then the ritual has been held annually.
