The National Boxing Championship in Gelegphu has entered its semi-finals. The finals are slated for Monday. The Championship saw 94 participants from the RBA’s ninth wing.
The National Boxing Champion will win a cash prize of Nu. 6,000. The boxers that place second and third will be awarded Nu. 5,000 and 3,000 as well. Medals and certificates will also be awarded to the winners.
The two week competition has been organised by the Bhutan Olympic Committee and the Royal Bhutan Army.
