As per the Annual Health Bulletin report 2012, Gelegphu Central Regional Referral Hospital has attended to the second highest number of patients following the National Referral Hospital in Thimphu. The programme officer said the overall performance of health services in Bhutan is over 95 percent.

“Once we reach the optimum utilization rate we are trying our best to keep it at the same level.”
