Bhutan’s Under-16 football team, who are currently in Kuwait to participate in the Asian Football Confederation, Under-16 Championships 2014 qualifiers, played a friendly match yesterday with the local club of Kuwait, Alyarmouk.
Our reporter, Karma Tshering, who is with the team said that the team defeated the local club by one goal to nil. Bhutan scored a goal when one of the players got the penalty kick.
The team is currently undergoing rigorous training by the National Head Coach form Japan, Kazunori Ohara, for four days.
The Championship begins on September 21, and Bhutan will play against Lebanon on the same day.
