A week-long Guru Seybum recitation came to an end in Paro today. The recitation was precided over by the venerable Dorji Lopen along with 63 monks at the Taktshang monastery in Paro. Devotees offered prayers and also received the Gongduegi Wang today.
The recitations started since last Sunday. The venerable Dorji Lopen said, if you can pray to Guru Rinpoche, the country will be rid of all kinds of disasters and natural calamities. “It does not mean that there is no benefit in praying to Guru Rinpoche at other places. But Taktshang is one of the most sacred place visited by Guru Rinpoche.”
He said the outcome from praying at Takshang will be much greater. “This will bring continued peace and prosperity in our country”
