Greener Way’s Karma Yonten receives global recognition

Greener-way-Karma-Yonten-receives-global-recognitionThe Prince’s Youth Business International has recognised Karma Yonten, the founder of Greener Way as the Environmental Entrepreneur of 2013 at the Global Youth Entrepreneurship Summit in London.

Karma Yonten was accompanied by the Mentor in-chief from Loden Foundation, Mr. Pema Wangchuk.

Karma is the founder of Bhutan’s first waste service firm established in 2010. Greener Way employs more than 34 people. Karma Yonten shares that he is honoured to have been presented the award by Prince Charles and is happy to have lived up to His Majesty the King’s expectations of being the best not only in Bhutan but also globally.

While in London, Karma Yonten was also one of the speakers, sharing the floor with the likes as Andrew Devenport, the Chief Executive of Youth Business International and Pierree Nanterme Chairman and CEO, Accenture, Sir David Walker, the Chairman of Barclays, Sir Malcolm Williamson, the Chairman of Youth Business International and some renowned speakers.

The MADE in BHUTAN, a documentary by Hirondelle Chateland, dedicated to Young Entrepreneurs of Bhutan was also premiered in Presence Karma Yonten in Asia House, London.
