A five-day training workshop on Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Management on Power Transmission line projects was held in Paro.
Around 40 project professionals comprising project managers, engineers and environmental officers of Bhutan Power Corporation attended the workshop which ended today.
The training is expected to enhance the capacity of project professionals to achieve compliance with the Environmental Assessment Act, and other environmental legislations.
BPC also hopes it will help them in compiling data and reports.
The workshop was organised by the National Environment Commission.
