The result of the Royal Civil Service preliminary examination was declared today. Of the 3,332 students who sat for the examination, 1,614 University Graduates have qualified to sit for the main exam. The main examination will begin from October 12.
The cut-off percentage of the preliminary examination this year was 54 percent. About 3,500 graduates had registered for the preliminary. The preliminary exam is conducted to test the minimum standard required for a candidate to appear for the main examination.
According to the Royal Civil Service Commission, there are 538 vacancies in the civil service for those who perform well in the main examination.
Last year 1,078 graduates had qualified for the main exam.
