Phuensum-MysticsPazaps won against Phojas, and Phuensum won against Mystics in the finals of the Monsoon Basketball Tournament held in the capital yesterday.

In the women’s category, Phuensum won by a basket. Our reporter, Tenzin Rabgye, who witness the match said it was a closely contested match.

In the men’s category Phojas led at the end of the first quarter. By the end of the second and third quarter, the Pazaps dominated the game with good defense.Pazap-Phojas

And there was a twist in the match as Pazaps managed to convert their chances and take the lead. Once they got it there was no chance for the Phojas to get back in the game. Phojas lost because of the amount of turnovers that they gave Pazaps.  In the end Pazaps won 82-69, a comfortable win.
