(Update) The 27-year-old man, who was abducted on the July 18 from Datgari, Assam, returned home at Chhoekhorling in Gelegphug this morning.
The abductors let him go after his family paid a ransom of Nu. 200,000 yesterday.
Meanwhile, police officials in Gelegphug are advising the Bhutanese people not to travel alone outside the border area.
This is the fifth abduction case in Saprpang Dzongkhag.
