(Brief) Three huts above Paro Dzong were razed to the ground by a fire. The incident took place at around 9:30 am today. The huts belonged to the workers working for the Dzong renovation project. Though there were no reports of casualties, all the belongings were lost. Firefighters and people from the locality battled the fire.
The fire was suspected to have started from a bukahari. The fire has also spread to the nearby forest and destroyed about an acre of forest before it was contained.
