RTC-Graduation-CeremonySome 250 graduates of Royal Thimphu College (RTC) attended the graduation ceremony. The Chief Advisor to the Interim government, Lyonpo Sonam Tobgay, and Her Royal Highness, Ashi Kesang Wangmo Wangchuck, graced the occasion.

Addressing the hall full of graduates, Lyonpo Sonam Tobgay, said the journey of life starts from here onwards. He said the strength and ability lie within them and that best is not best if they still can do better.

“The graduates will be stepping out of this institution, stumbling along and finding their footings in their careers ahead. The future years shall be challenging and your will be tested,” said Lyonpo Sonam Tobgay. All the experiences at the college, he said, would have prepared the students to fight courageously.

Five students received special student awards and outstanding leadership award for excelling in their studies and showcasing their ability to lead.

The graduating students were awarded with certificates. The ceremony was attended by some dignitaries, parents and faculties.
