To commemorate the golden jubilee of Bhutan Telecom, an ICT Summit was held in the capital, yesterday.
The summit aimed to provide platform to increase mobile connectivity to remote places, explore avenues to overcome topographical barriers and collaborating business models, technologies and strategies for growth.
As part of the golden jubilee celebration, the Bhutan Telecom also launched B-Wallet service in partnership with the Bank of Bhutan.
Now the B-mobile customers with an account in BoB, can transfer money from one BoBL account to another BoBL account by using mobile service.
