Thousand butter lamps for Himalaya Tsunami's victims

Butter-Lamps--flood-victims-in-Uttarkhand-and-Himachal-PradeshThe Chief Adviser to the Interim Government Lyonpo Sonam Tobgye and the Indian Ambassador V P Haran lighted a thousand butter lamps at the Trongsa Dzong yesterday.

The butter lamps were lit for the flood victims in Uttarkhand and Himachal Pradesh in India.

Lyonpo Sonam Tobgye and Ambassador Haran are in Trongsa for the inauguration of the completion of the river diversion tunnel at the Mangdecchu Hydro power Project, which will be held tomorrow.

Earlier in the morning, Ambassador Haran visited Tashidingkha Primary and Samcholing middle secondary schools and Drakteng Gewog office to see the structures constructed under the Small Development Grants and Project Tied Assistance.
