DPT--Campaign--PlingThe President of Druk Phuensum Tshogpa (DPT), Jigmi Y. Thinley met with the people of Phuentsholing, yesterday.

Speaking to them, the President said people should judge his party based on what the Party has done for them. He talked about various achievements the Party made during their tenure as the ruling government.

He also urged people not to be swayed by various political speculations and to take decisions based on their own morals and knowledge.

The president said that their first five years was focused on uplifting the lives of those living in the rural parts of the country. This time, the Party will equally focus on bringing changes in the urban areas.

After the meeting, Jigmi Y. Thinley met with the truckers and talked to them various issues concerning the truckers. He also touched on the recent issue of increased parking fees at the truck parking in Phuentsholing.
