The Chief Advisor of the Interim Government, Lyonpo Sonam Tobgye, met with India’s former Union Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang, today.
Dinesh Trivedi is currently a Member of Parliament in the Lower House representing Barrackpore, West Bengal and is from the All India Trinamool Congress Party. He served as the Union Railway Minister from July 2011 to March 2012 and as Union Minister of State for Health and Family Affair from 2009 to 2011.
Lyonpo Sonam Tobgye welcomed Dinesh Trivedi and said that this visit demonstrates his personal friendship and the friendship between Bhutan and India.
Dinesh Trivedi said that he is delighted to be in Bhutan and brings a lot of goodwill and good wishes from India.
