The People’s Democratic Party says the seven candidates who will be replaced by the Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa candidates gave their seats taking in account the larger interest of the Party. PDP will replace seven of their candidates from various constituencies of Monggar, Trashigang, Samdrup Jongkhar and Zhemgang.
PDP’s Vice President, Damchoe Dorji, said the Party will support the former candidates.
“These are the biggest sacrifices our candidates have made in 2013 elections. They have done so for the interest of the people and the country as well as for the interest of Party.” He said their Party will make all the efforts to ensure that either they get job or help them to set up business of their own choices. “We will do everything in our power….”
