Four guesthouses in Gasa Tsachu

Guesthouse--Upper-and-Middle-Income-bracketPeople visiting Gasa Tsachu no longer have to pitch tents. Around four guesthouses in Jangothang have already been completed. Jangothang is less than a kilometre away from the hot spring.

There are two types of guesthouses. One for the upper and middle income group and the other for the for the low income group, which are still under construction.Guesthouse--Low-Income-bracket

Gasa Dzongda, Sonam Jigme, says the rental charges are yet to be fixed. The money collected in rent will be used for maintenance and to pay-off utility charges.

There are also plans to develop a recreational park and a camping spot. A Lhakhang and a medical unit are also being planned.
