More than 50 schools across the country will be educated by the ECB on democracy and election procedures in the coming days. On Friday, over 200 students and teachers of Shari Higher Secondary School in Paro were briefed on the procedures in the upcoming NA elections and other election processes like postal ballots. After a proposal by ECB, 51 schools from various parts of the country volunteered to initiate “Democracy Clubs” in their schools. The ECB will provide election education as part of this initiative.
