T Bank opened its fourth branch office in Gelephu, today. With the opening of the T Bank, all the financial banks have a branch in Gelephu now. People are happy as they have more choices. Seventy five people opened accounts with T Bank on the first day itself.
“I think more banks we have in place like Gelephu, they get the platform to compete among themselves to serve better to the customers and which eventually we get the benefit,” said Ugyen Dukpa, one of the residents.
“If there was only one bank, we won’t get a good service,” said another, Tshewang Gomdar, adding that with more banks in the market they would give more importance to the customers.
It offers all the loan and deposit products that other financial banks offer. The bank has branch offices in Thimphu, Phuentsholing and Wangdue Phodrang.
