Another newbie secures maximum votes in Chhukha

Pema-TenzinPema Tenzin, 34, from Chhukha, who has worked has worked in tourism sector for nine years as the Human Resources and Training Director, secured 6,995 votes including postal ballot. He was nominated from Chapchha Gewog.

Pema Tenzin had said he aspires to help make laws that will truly benefit the people and the nation. He said he will at all time safeguard the peace, security and sovereignty of the Kingdom. “I will ensure plans and policies that reflect the need and aspiration of the people,” said Pema Tenzin. He also said he will assist in making delivery of public services simple and timely through appropriate policy intervention.

The former NC MP Tshewang Lhamo could secure 3,680 votes including postal ballot.
