Rinzin Dorji secures maximum votes from Punakha

Rinzin-DorjiRinzin Dorji, 48, who has been and educator for the past 22 years, obtained 3,449 votes. He was nominated from Toedwang Gewog.

RinzinDorji has promised to strengthen the Rule of Law and the national  security and sovereignty. “I will also ensure that  the voices of the people are heard.”

He was a Project Director with BAOWE before he decided to contest in the upcoming elections.

Rinzin Dorji has worked as school principal for 15 years. He also served as a teacher for about seven years. He has a Masters in Adm. and Management.

The other contender, Namgay Dorji, could secure 2764 votes.
