Ambassadors of Europe present credentials to His Majesty

The Ambassadors of Norway, The Netherlands, Sweden and Spain to Bhutan presented their credentials to His Majesty the King at the Tashichhodzong, today.

The Ambassador of Norway, Mr. Eivind S. Homme who was formerly in Indonesia, has held several posts in the US, China, Phillipines and Italy as a dilpmat.

A.H.M. Stoelinga, the Ambassador of The Netherlands joined the Foreign Ministry in 1979, and besides being posted to various countries, he has also served as the Ministry’s Deputy Secretary General and the Acting Secretary General at the Hague.

Harald Sandberg, the Ambassador of Sweden has vast experience in the Asian region having earlier served as Ambassador to South Korea and Indonesia. Ambassador Sandberg began his service with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1977.

Gustavo Manuel de Arístegui y San Román, the Ambassador of Spain began his diplomatic career in 1989. He has served in various capacities in countries like Libya and Jordan and was also a Member of the Spanish Parliament.
