EVM--LunanaThe final attempt to transport Electronic Voting Machines and the Election Officials to Lunana, in Gasa was unsuccessful. The choppers, transporting the EVMs and the officials, had to return to Paro Airport from Dochula because of poor weather condition.

The election officials say their other option is to hire private helicopters. If, the option also does not come through, the officials say they might have to postpone the election in Lunana.

The official said the other three gewogs, Khatoed, Khamaed and Laya of Gasa, will not be affected.

The helicopters made its first attempt on Thursday but their attempt was foiled given the poor weather condition.
