The BOB Women’s National League 2026 is beginning to take shape as teams continue their early-season campaign. After three rounds of matches, RTC WFC lead the standings with a perfect record, while several clubs remain close behind in the race for the top six.

Defending champions RTC WFC currently sit at the top of the table with nine points from three matches. RTC have scored 23 goals and are yet to concede this season.

The team opened their campaign with an 8-0 win over Paro WFC, followed by another 8-0 victory against U-17 Gelephu Girls Academy. RTC then secured a 7-0 result against Ugyen Academy WFC in their third match.

Paro WFC are placed second with six points from three matches and a goal difference of 16. After losing their opening fixture to RTC WFC, Paro recovered with a 16-0 win over Tsirang WFC and later defeated United Phuentsholing WFC 8-0.

Thimphu City WFC are third on the table with six points from two matches. The side began the season with a 3-1 win against Transport United Ladies before registering a 4-1 victory over U-17 Gelephu Girls Academy.

Transport United Ladies occupy fourth place with three points. After losing to Thimphu City WFC in their opening fixture, the team bounced back with a 12-0 win over United Phuentsholing WFC.

Ugyen Academy WFC are fifth with one win and one loss from two matches. The club defeated U-20 Gelephu Girls Academy 5-4 before going down 7-0 to RTC WFC.

Meanwhile, Tsirang WFC and United Phuentsholing WFC have one point each. U-20 Gelephu Girls Academy and U-17 Gelephu Girls Academy are yet to collect their first points of the season, while Gelephu City WFC have not played a match so far.

Ten teams are competing in this year’s league. At the end of the first round, the top six teams will qualify for Tier I of the Women’s National League, while the remaining four teams will move to the National Championship, or Tier II. Each club will play nine matches before the standings are finalised.

The league has already seen several high-scoring matches as teams continue their push for an early advantage in the standings.
