A 65-year-old man died on the spot when he was electrocuted on February 26 in Wangling under Langthel Gewog, Trongsa.
The incident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. when the man was felling a tree near some overhead transmission lines.
The Police report states the tree fell on the transmission lines causing his death.
The man was from Lhuentse. He is survived by his wife.
A semso from the Gyalpoi Zimpon’s office was handed over to his family by the Trongsa dzongda.
