To celebrate its silver jubilee, the Bhutan Development Bank Limited published a magazine that archives BDBL’s 25 years of Journey.
BDBL along with Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan also launched two products. Drongseb Kuendrul Tshe-sog Ngensung or the micro credit life policy has been developed in collaboration with the Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan.
Likewise, to acknowledge the farmers who have now graduated to cooperatives, another product, cooperative loan was launched.
BDBL also acknowledged seven employees who have been serving the bank for the last 25 years.
On the heels of these achievements, BDBL has pledged to be a strong, dependable and customer focused bank that contributes towards the achievement of Gross National Happiness.
The bank also donated Nu.500,000 for the renovation of Wangduephodrang Dzong.
