Department of Energy receives drone from JICA

The Department of Energy under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources received a set of drone from the JICA Bhutan Office. The drone worth over Nu 1.4 M will be used for feasibility survey, site assessment and data collection for energy projects.

The Department of Energy aims to enhance cost-efficiency, accuracy, and speed in its surveys and studies through the use of drone technology.
