To improve the quality and safety of healthcare services, Healthcare Services Rules and Regulations 2025 was officially launched last week in the country. This regulation mandates comprehensive record-keeping, rigorous inspections, and clear penalties for non-compliance to ensure quality healthcare in the country. It also aims to establish a foundation for the involvement of the private sector in healthcare services delivery. Our reporter Singye Dema caught up with Kinga Jamphel, the Director of the Department of Health Services.
