The Supreme Court has delivered judgments for 14 out of 15 civil and commercial appeal cases involving Phajo Nidup.
The court has fully affirmed seven High Court judgments where Phajo has to restitute over Nu 189 M to various parties including banks.
Six cases were withdrawn by appellants and one case concerning BoB was partially reversed, leaving only one case pending.
The Supreme Court rendered the judgments in over six months, from July to December last year.
Phajo was implicated in 90 civil and commercial cases by the Time-Bound Bench in May last year where he was asked to restitute almost a billion ngultrum to various financial institutions and private individuals.
The Supreme Court has yet to pass the judgments regarding his criminal cases.
