To guide the Human Resources Development agencies across the country, the first ever National Human Resources Development Advisory Series was was launched in Thimphu, today.
The National Human Resources Development Advisory Series has been developed to assess the current Human Resources Development opportunities and challenges in the different sectors of economy. It is also to guide relevant sectors towards planned HRD intervention to address the existing mismatch in the labour market.
At the launch, the Labor Minister Dorji Wangdi, said the ministry has came up with the National Human Resources Policy, to put in place an umbrella policy and framework for human resources development. He says it will provide overall direction to all agencies involved.
The HRD Advisory series will focus on training and education need of the country. It will be developed on an annual basis.
