During the Meet the Press session today, the prime minister announced that the Cabinet has approved the establishment of a National Rehabilitation Centre to be set up this year. The prime minister also mentioned that, after consulting with the education sector, a nationwide drug test for students and trainees will be conducted. Students who test positive will be sent to a special rehabilitation school at Yongphula, while those involved in drug peddling and crimes will be sent to the National Rehabilitation Centre for treatment.
