Getting reliable and safe drinking water will no longer be a struggle for residents of Gaytsa Chiwog at Chhumey Gewog in Bumthang. This is because a water project worth Nu 7.5 M was completed and handed over to the people today.

The construction began last September with the help of 70 DeSuups. A reservoir with a capacity of 30,000 litres and public tap stands were built.

The project will benefit more than 60 households and 500 residents of Gyatsa, Buli and nearby communities including a monastic school.
